Walking Mass는 팬데믹으로 인해 집단 분리(collective separation)를 겪은 시간을 추모하기 위한 행진으로, 드론 카메라를 통해 촬영되었습니다. 행진은 서로 6 피트 간격으로 떨어져 진행되지만, 참여자들의 목소리만은 하나로 연결 되었습니다. 참여자들은 공통점을 찾고, 공동된 생각을 가지고 본 행사에 참여하였습니다. 

Walking Mass는 전 세계를 강타한 팬데믹을 추모하며 Re-Fest 2021의 일환으로 발표되었습니다.

NUUM is a collective of multidisciplinary artists committed to bringing multiple forms together into a total work of art. We work across a broad range of forms including movement, sound, text, visual art and codified rules of interaction. We examine each form through the lens of an adjacent one by asking some basic questions about sensing and cognition. What do we (not) see? What’s real? What’s manufactured? What is after-taste? How does movement define space? How does stillness define movement? How does language subvert our senses? How do participation and choice craft a narrative that holds the audience in a tighter embrace? Our work has been supported by CultureHub, The Movement Lab at Barnard College, MANA Contemporary, The Center for Ballet and The Arts, The National Endowment for the Arts among others.
