Kensaku Shinohara

Kensaku Shinohara, an LA-based choreographer, shares materials he has been exploring at CultureHub LA. His researches are sonic, movement centered, conceptual experiences that exist between technology and live performance, which feature abstract storytelling about himself and the world. Opening a new period in his work, Kensaku plays in sound and space, a practice as research performance that will expand and grow in the coming years.
Kensaku Shinohara has been supported within Experiments in Digital Storytelling.
An interactive livestream featuring emerging Ukrainian multidisciplinary theatre companies Schmalgauzen, Vidlik Projects, Tinyova, AMÆNTES, and Dima Levytskyi perform on the virtual stage with direction by Romana Isabella Soutus.
