Long Live Livia

January 21, 2024
Presented by CultureHub and Seoul Institute of the Arts

Long Live Livia tells a story about memory, loss, and television by puppeteer and filmmaker, Zach Dorn. In this livestream performance, viewers travel through miniature recreations of his grandmother’s home while recalling a scene from the American television show The Sopranos. As personal stories become tangled in nostalgia and recollection, Long Live Livia explores pop media’s power to define the past and transform fiction into something more real than the dead.

Long Live Livia is created by Zach Dorn, a co-program director of CultureHub Korea. It is presented as a part of Experiments in Digital Storytelling. This workshop performance was broadcast live from the Seoul Institute of the Arts.
