Artist Claudix Vanesix will talk with Asher Remy-Toledo, director of Hyphen Hub, about the work presented at Re–Fest, Dance Permit (Denied). The artist will talk on the experience of their gender fluidity, being born in a female body but wanting to be part of a strong indigenous tradition where only the male are allowed to dance and that patriarchal structure was not questioned. Claudix's work implements XR, AI and performance art to address and question some of these issues.
