Join CultureHub Resident Artists Ann Chen and Jeffrey Yoo Warren at an open studio to explore the collected works of their residency’s activities, including immersive memory enclaves, soundscapes of the past, masks, and memory objects in an interactive event at CultureHub NYC.
In their weeklong residency, the artists will welcome in participants to creatively re-engage with memory through virtual world-building, speculative soundscape recording and editing, and mask making. This open studio will showcase outcomes of the workshops, collectively recreating—with gathered images, sounds, memories and observations—past and present Asian diasporic enclaves in a VR environment.
RSVP is encouraged but not required to attend this event.
